Raystown Lake

LOCATION: Seven Points area of Raystown Lake

DIRECTIONS TO TRAILHEAD: From Huntingdon take PA Route 26 about 10 miles south and turn left at the flashing orange light onto Seven Points Road. Follow to left turn onto Bakers Hollow Road (at Chappy’s Pizza). Follow to trailhead on right just before Susquehannock Road.

TRAIL DESCRIPTION: Professionally designed and built by mountain bikers and managed by the Friends of Raystown Lake, the continuous 30+ mile stacked loop trail system on Army Corps property can be enjoyed by nearly any biker, hiker, or nature enthusiast. Get to know the trails before letting it rip! The flowing nature of the trails can make you want to go faster that you should, which can result in unexpected air under your wheels. Wear blaze orange and use caution during hunting seasons. See http://www.pgc.state.pa.us for hunting seasons.

NOTES: This is one of many areas that LHORBA had a profound impact volunteering hundreds of hours toward design and construction.
